Chart notes
AKKADIAN sprinted clear early, withstood some mild pressure from FOGG COVE through the middle stages, but had plenty in reserve to hold clear to the finish. KNICKADOO dropped back early, moved out to the three-path for the run down the backstretch, continued to advance through the far turn, dropped down the rail midway through that turn and rallied for second despite having some trouble changing leads. BIG TOM settled mid-pack along the rail, lacked a clear path from the half through the far turn, got clear in upper stretch, lacked a significant finish but chugged along to pick up the minor award. FOGG COVE tracked close to the pacesetter for the first half-mile, launched a bit early on the far turn, gave game chase into the stretch but could not get to the eventual winner and was overtaken in the final yards. DELGANY BOY settled in mid-pack, came out four-wide into the stretch but lacked a rally. GRAND LIAM tracked in mid-pack but four-wide down the backstretch, came under pressure near the three-furlong pole and faltered in the stretch. HAND TIMED.
