Chart notes
NORTHERN ANGEL raced between horses into the first turn, advanced to stalk the pace outside BABY DOLL PEACH into the backstretch, continued to stalk in the three path on the far turn, had aim on that foe while chasing under a drive in the lane, wore her down near the sixteenth mark and edged clear. BABY DOLL PEACH was sent to the lead and set the pace, continued on the lead in the two path on the far turn, was driven into the lane with NORTHERN ANGEL having aim to her outside, tried to keep her at bay but could not hold her off past the sixteenth. MORGS WORLD raced in the rear flight outside of TWO PRACTICAL early, was forced out when that foe blew the turn, crossed inside of TWO PRACTICAL into the backstretch, was urged in the five path on the far turn and responded with a mild rally, chased on in the lane and proved best of the rest. DRAMA SPEAKER was fractious in the gate and had to be unloaded and reloaded before the start, broke sharply, tracked the pace inside early, chased inside down the backstretch and while saving ground around the far turn, proved no match for the leading pair into the lane, chased on under a drive but could not hold show. TWO PRACTICAL was hard to settle at the rear early, floated very wide into the first turn, carrying MORGS WORLD out with her, continued to race very keenly into the backstretch, edged forward to a chasing position outside, began to weaken near the seven sixteenths, drifted out around the far turn while emptying out and had no more for the drive. SECRET VICTORY raced three wide midpack through the first turn, chased between horses down the back straight and in the three to four path through the second turn, took up behind DRAMA SPEAKER into upper stretch and was eased up down the lane.
