Chart notes
FROSTY VIEW pressed the early pace outside PHILO BEDDOE, rallied two wide to take a narrow lead outside that foe approaching the five sixteenths, vied outside that foe until he began to weaken approaching the furlong mark, was soon engaged from the inside by MAX VEGAS, but dug in and repelled that challenge under urging. MAX VEGAS chased far behind the leading pair, was pushed along while saving ground on the turn, began to cut into the lead past the five sixteenths, went to a drive near the three sixteenths, split horses near the furlong mark to get inside of FROSTY VIEW, fought hard to try to reel that foe in late but just missed. PHILO BEDDOE was headstrong to the early lead, set a pressured pace inside of FROSTY VIEW, was headed by that foe approaching the five sixteenths, continued to battle inside the new leader under a drive in upper stretch, but emptied out approaching the furlong pole and dropped out of contention from there. JACKMAN settled at the rear, raced in the five path on the turn, floated seven wide into the lane and lacked the needed kick in the lane. FACE VALUE settled near the rear, raced in the two to three path on the turn, swung into the lane in the five path and was driven for a rally, but flattened out.
