Chart notes
VRANA (IRE) stalked from between runners early, shifted nearer the rail entering the turn tracking in behind the leader, moved out for room in upper stretch brushing a rival lightly in the process and under urging, gained to take the lead just past the furlong marker and edged away late. RARIFIED (IRE) was urged at the start and promptly moved clear, set the pace inside, came out a bit in the stretch to meet a challenger, was no match for that one but preserved the place. KEYTOTHEPARK settled outside at the rear, fanned seven wide into upper stretch, loomed a threat but could only kick on mildly. WORLD SHOWCASE exchanged a light bump at the start, chased from inside and was in tight leaving the backstretch dropping back a couple lengths, ran on evenly thereafter. WORRY LESS pursued from outside the second flight up the backstretch, took closer order heading into the turn racing two to three wide on that bend, was lightly brushed in upper stretch, lacked the needed late kick. SIL'S GAMBLE exchanged a light bump at the start, settled inside at the rear, angled seven wide in upper stretch, failed to menace. READY TO BATTLE broke outwardly, stalked from outside off the leader racing three to four wide, weakened in the stretch.
