Chart notes
SANS DANCER was travelling five deep on the outside close to the rear through the running down the backside, had a very quick turn of foot when roused four wide swooping around foes from the five sixteenths pole to the quarter marker, relentlessly kept on coming outside the leader in upper stretch and seized control leaving the furlong pole to edge clear for the win when crossing the finish line. MIGHTY TANNER pressed the early pace on the inside, moved in getting a head in front on the rail by the five eighths marker, travelled very comfortably up top in hand controlling the pace in the turn running, skimmed the fence holding on inside in upper stretch but the eventual winner was bearing down and could not fend off the late charge outside in the last furlong while coming in safely for the second place share at the wire. PARTY HOTLINE settled into stride between rivals in the three path in the early stages, was roused but could not quicken with others while three wide when being relegated to last at the five sixteenths pole, shifted out widest to the five path straightening out for the drive and had a good late charge outside in the final furlong, unable to get to the lead twosome late but nabbing the inside runner on the last just for the show award. KIMBERLINA was away alertly getting the advantage at the start, settled three deep outside still in the fray up front in mid-backstretch, chased three wide unable to gain on the frontrunner through the turn and finished up only evenly in the stretch drive settling on the fringes in the end. DEFINITE DIVA was in no rush on the rail at the back end with five eighths to go in a very compact group, progressed inside at the seven sixteenths marker, continued to edge closer midway around the bend, hugged the rail in with a chance for a piece of the prize taking closer order at the head of the lane but could not find another gear late and wilted inside of runners in the last furlong. ARTFUL DIAMOND was taken a hold of soon after leaving the gate trailing in the beginning, rushed up between foes through the backside to press in the two path for the lead by the half, could not continue on with rivals retreating steadily two wide by the quarter pole and emptied out in the three path at the head of the lane.
