Chart notes
TRIPLE MAX settled off of the early pace, moved outside of runners to the backstretch then was well placed approaching the far turn, asked for run three wide nearing the quarter marker, took command to upper stretch, drew clear to the final sixteenth and kept to task to the wire. BISTINEAU BOO BELL vied for the early lead along the inside then took command, set a prompted pace to the second turn, overtaken by TRIPLE MAX nearing the top of the lane, chased the winner through the stretch, couldn't make headway to the final sixteenth but was a clear second best. FLAMING EMBERS off a bit slowly and unhurried early on, advanced while saving ground into the far turn, angled out to upper stretch then chased the top pair into the drive, was no match late for the leaders but held safely in the end for third. TATTOO close up to the early pace while between runners, was keen along the first turn then took back into the backstretch, tracked outside of rivals approaching the far turn, lacked the needed response two to three wide nearing the quarter pole, angled back in to upper stretch and did not threaten late. BETHEL ROAD broke alertly and vied for the early lead three wide, went up to prompt the pace two wide along the backstretch, dueled BISTINEAU BOO BELL into the far turn, couldn't match strides to upper stretch then tired in the lane.
