Chart notes
WHITELICK ROAD obtained a brief early lead soon after the start, was overtaken by an inside foe, dueled with that one, had a narrow lead turning for home, edged away late while kept to task. ELSIE'S LEGACY was coaxed forward early, took the lead inside a rival past the nine-sixteenths, dueled inside that one, was no match and yielded in the stretch but held second. RATHER LATE was bumped fairly hard at the start, exchanged a light brush early, chased four wide on the turn, was asked by the quarter pole, kept on in the stretch but needed more. ATRAXA chased from mid-pack racing inside foes but off the rail into the turn, went in the three then four path on that bend, fanned six wide into upper stretch, was not a threat. MAYA'S WARRIOR was forced in at the start bumping a rival, exchanged minor contact up the backstretch, was caught four to five wide on the turn, floated seven wide into upper stretch, failed to menace. LADY ARTIST broke inwardly but got away well, soon dropped back, failed to rally. LIBBY LOO moved forward and shifted in a bit stalking the dueling leaders from off the rail, flattened out in the stretch.
