Chart notes
SPINELLI opened a clear lead shortly away from the gate while setting a fast pace, edged away on the turn, widened in the lane when called upon and went unchallenged in a convincing performance. COCO ABARRIO unhurried early to be settled off the pace, saved ground through the turn, cut the corner coming for home and rallied steadily to be up for the place. HEIR TO THE ROAR was away slowly, hustled up to contend in a stalking position on the turn and finished evenly unable to sustain the bid. BRAGANZA stalked the pace down the backside, chased the pacesetter through the turn while failing to gain ground and kept-on in the lane weakening in the final hundred yards. SUNGLOW (IRE) was not a threat. PURE ELOQUENCE tracked the leaders for the first quarter mile and came up empty on the turn.
