Chart notes
MO FOR US broke out a bit, was straightened and raced unhurried up the backstretch while moving toward the inside, saved ground through the turn, asked for some run with two furlongs remaining, tipped out three wide when straightened for home, collared the dueling leaders past the furlong and quickly drew clear without feeling the crop to win ridden out. GANGSTER FLASH broke with the leaders, dueled up front on the outside, between horses past the furlong marker when falling back a bit, could not match the winner in the final sixteenth, came back to gain the place. SIX STRING asked out of the gate to maintain inside forward position, dueled up the backstretch through a quick opening quarter, continued to alternate through the bend, held a slight advantage into the stretch, proved no match for the winner the final furlong, lost the runner up spot in the final strides. CAVA DE ORO closest to the two leaders while in the three path, crept a bit closer with the winner entering the stretch while outside the winner, went flat through the lane in lacking a response. LOLA AND ROSE last away, trailed while racing off the inside, never menaced.
