Chart notes
STAR OF BETHLEHEM away in good order from along the inside, set a semi pressured pace early along the inside, ,kicked well clear through the lane under steady handling in a sharp effort. RUNNINGONCLOUDNINE lacked early foot, continued to be outrun through midturn, swung out widest for the drive and finished full of run down the middle of the strip to be closing the gap on the winner while not a serious threat to that one at the wire. PASTINACA off the early pace while between horses, raced three wide through the turn, showed some mild interest through upper stretch to reach closest to the winner a furlong out, flattened in the run to the wire and was run down for the place. GOLFITO veered out break, raced in the second flight while four wide into and through the turn, went evenly through the lane while remaining well out in the strip. WARRIOR'S FLIGHT back off the pace, came two wide out of the turn, improved by passing a few tiring rivals in the late goin. ARMY RUNNING BAYOU in tight then steadied soon after the start, remained back while racing three wide. LEVEE NATIVE chased the winner from the two path for three furlongs, had little left for the stretch drive. RUNAWAY JURY in the second flight in the two path, dropped to the rail midway on the turn and began to tire, continued to falter through the lane.
