MAD ABOUT MARIE stalked around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued to track the leader around the far turn, advanced to challenge TRULY AUTHENTIC for the lead at the head of the lane, cleared command past upper stretch and drew off convincingly. TRULY AUTHENTIC sped to the lead at the start and set the pace up the backstretch and around the far turn, got collared by eventual winner past upper stretch, weakened and just lasted for place. FULL SPIRIT was forwardly placed through early stages, weakened off the leader past the half mile marker, saved ground around the turn, stayed inside down the lane and just missed place. BEACHYA was reserved in the back, came three to four wide into the lane and had no response. KAZAMATAZ failed to move into contention.
