Chart notes

DEVINE DIGNITY seized the early lead with CRONE ZONE applying mild pressure just to the inside, left that one behind approaching the quarter pole, responded when set down for the drive and held firm under threat through the stretch run. RYON'S CHANCE stalked the pace never more than two-wide, made a strong run up the inside through the stretch, narrowed the margin on the leader but just missed. GYPSY J T settled mid-pack two to three wide, finished with good interest but came up short. AHOOGA broke well but was not asked for speed and settled at the back of the main pack through the early stages, kept to the inside paths through both turns, and finished with mild interest under steady urging and was gaining some ground gradually in the late stages. THE FUSS raced four or five wide throughout and lacked a finish. TRES TENADORES saved ground through both turns but raced five or six wide on the straightaways and lacked a rally. CRONE ZONE stalked the pacesetter to the quarter pole, then gave way readily and faded to last. HAND TIMED.
