Chart notes
LIGHTED VESSEL settled in mid-pack early on, moved up into the second position near the quarter pole, then tipped out to the two path for the stretch run, wore down the pacesetter by mid-stretch, then drew clear in the final stages. UNTO THEE sprinted to a clear lead into the first turn, maintained the margin to the stretch, then was overtaken in the final sixteenth while saving the place. LORD ANTHEM raced close to the pace but three to four wide throughout, flattened out in the stretch but managed to hold on for the minor award. THREE ECHOES showed good speed from the break but had to be ridden along to keep up, dropped back on the backstretch and was kept to task late but only mildly improved. RIVER TIBER gave an even effort while saving ground throughout. FLIGHT SPEED raced very wide, was done early and trailed far back to the finish.
