Chart notes

DRAW BOOT switched out off the inside early and made a swift advance outside to race mid-pack, moved four wide three furlongs out advancing on the leader, edged past inside the final furlong under steady handling. ZUCCHERO was coaxed to the lead to set the pace from off the rail, was shadowed up the backstretch, dispatched that rival but was soon joined to the outside by the eventual winner, could not fend that rival off late and just held second. BEE ME exchanged a brush in the early going, pursued from mid-pack near the inside, saved some ground on the turn, came out a bit for the stretch run, was gaining quickly late but just missed second. CATEGORY FIVE exchanged a light brush early, altered outside a rival then shifted in late up the backstretch, saved ground on the turn, kept on and gained late inside but needed more. PADRAIG tossed the head at the start but was away well, taken back off the leading pair shifting in a bit to stalk, went three to four wide on the turn and was encouraged along, came into upper stretch five then six wide, failed to rally. INSTANT RESPONSE pressed the pace, was encouraged along at the five-sixteenths but dropped back and faded. Copyright 2026 Equibase Company LLC. All Rights Reserved.
