Chart notes
SHESHIMAINTENANCE had a nice set up throughout tucked in on the fence rating kindly behind the frontrunner, started to pick up the bit edging closer on the fence at the quarter pole, shifted to the three-path full of run at the head of the lane and powered past sharply outside the pacesetter seizing control at the furlong marker and won going away at the finish line. JUSTIFY PERFECTION hopped slightly on the break, travelled three wide in midfield early on, closed the gap outside of runners down the backside, made a strong move circling foes three wide at the five sixteenths pole, angled to the five path gathering more speed in upper stretch, could not quicken with the winner in the final furlong but did fight on stubbornly winning the place share in deep stretch outside. REGAL MOMENT had inside position from another sitting in midfield, dropped back a touch at the half having one runner beaten, was relegated to last on the rail midway around the final bend, rallied smartly shaving the corner turning for home and finished up solidly inside just missing out in the fight for place but besting the rest easily for the show award. QUEENS COMMAND (IRE) was unhurried trailing the field on the first turn, made no progression along the backside, moved out two wide making a mild run at the five sixteenths pole and showed some late interest passing tired runners in the final furlong for a minor role in the end. TAKEMETOTHEBEACH moved outside going under the wire for the first time crossing over getting to the rail and the lead entering the first bend, galloped along unopposed up top slowing the tempo down considerably through the backstretch, moved well still in control of things with the pace quickening on the far turn, had no answer inside when the winner stormed by at the furlong pole and wilted having little left late for the final sixteenth of a mile. MADAME OBEY broke a step slow on the break, recouped to track the pacesetter outside on the first turn, sat just outside off the leader with the pace slackening down the backside, chased two wide making no gain on the far turn, moved out to the four path for the stretch drive but tired in the last furlong.
