Chart notes
CARA FELCE was off a step slow, made a three wide bid through the far turn to challenge and finished strongly to edge clear under steady pressure. WEST COAST DREAM stalked the pace near the inside, raced two wide through the far turn, angled out five wide through the drive and finished gamely to the wire. DIABLO SHIRAZ stalked the pace near the inside under a hold, made a good rail bid into the upper stretch to take aim and weakened the final eighth of a mile. COLD CASE was allowed to settle early, moved up three to five wide from the outside of rivals and needed more in the drive. TRUE PRINCESS sent along to a clear early lead, felt pressure through the far turn and gave way. MENKAURE tracked the early leader two deep from the outside and faded.
