Chart notes
PASS THE CROWN had good speed then kicked away from rivals on the backstretch and maintained the advantage under steady urging. TAVERNELLE was three wide early, saved ground on the second turn and bested the rest. CHANCELLORS BOOM tracked the pace, saved ground to the stretch but tired in the drive. SHINY ORB had no speed, came three wide on the far turn but was never a threat. SIR ARGENTO chased the leader, tried to respond two wide but weakened in the final furlong. TAP MAN had no speed while four wide, eased in and was two wide into the second turn then came up empty in the drive. OPHIR GOLD was forced out to the five path to the backstretch and was never a threat. CLASSY PENGUIN was hustled and briefly was a pace factor, got outkicked by the winner on the backstretch then gave way after a half mile.
