Chart notes
J T'S IMAGINATION raced in range along the outside, launched a bid approaching the quarter pole, dueled outside of BAXTER down the lane, dug in determinedly and edged clear late. BAXTER was never far back off the early pace, moved up to challenge at the quarter pole, dueled inside of JT'S IMAGINATION down the lane, fought gamely and got denied late. RATLEFF lagged in the back of the field, hustled along four wide into the lane, was no match for the top pair but finished well clear over the rest. SWISS GUARD was forwardly placed, chased two wide around the turn then faded. KING ADOLIS set the pace, could not move on with duo past the quarter pole and retreated. TITLE CONTENDER stalked the pace, came up empty around the far turn and dropped back.
