Chart notes
CROOKED AS CAN BE set the pace, held firm around the turn, came two wide into stretch, angled to the inside and held late. TOMS PROSPECTOR stalked the pace, hustled along two wide into stretch and gained on the winner late. JAMESONS CHALK tracked the early pace, chased inside around the far turn, was no match for clear top pair in the lane but ran on and secured a share. PALACE ROCK raced off the pace, chased two wide around the turn and improved without threatening. OSWALD settled through early stages, advanced three to four wide at the quarter pole then gave way. ORPHAN SANDY was not far back around the first turn, chased up the backstretch then came up empty. STUMPY'S LOVE SONG failed to move into contention. MADETHEDEAN'SLIST was forwardly placed and came up empty around the far turn.
