Chart notes
IMA MARGARITA GIRL had good speed, set the pace, was confronted by the runnerup a furlong out but met that bid and gamely edged clear late. GALESVILLE hustled to press the pace, pushed up to get on terms a furlong out then got outkicked in the drive but was second best. RIVER DANCE was settled for a half mile, bid three wide to the stretch but went evenly late. CUT N CURL trailed for a half mile, was off the rail to the stretch and came on late but missed the show dough. A FLEET RIDE chased the pace for a half, saved ground on the far turn then lacked the needed closing response. EXINGTON had a wide trip throughout and was not a factor.
