Chart notes
PEARL OF ACLAIM (GB) pressed the pace to midway on the turn while well in hand three wide, edged up to challenge the pacestter turning for home under confident handling, assumed command from the tiring leader midway down the stretch and held the closers safe. SYDNEY STREET (GB) reserved off the pace to race mid-pack, rallied in upper stretch and showed good interest in the lane to be second best. THALBERG tracked the leaders to the head of the lane and rallied with a mild bid to be along for the show. CAMILO was well placed in the clear in striking distance, narrowed the margin on the bend and flattened out in the lane. SUMMERFEST raced at the rear of the field to the top of the lane and passed weaker rivals in the stretch without impact. CHIPS LEGACY set a pressured pace to the head of the stretch, battled to mid-stretch and gave way in the final furlong. LEONARD'S LEGACY was not a factor.
