Chart notes
AMEDEUS MUSIC moved up and assumed command into the first turn while setting a slow pace then was headed by CATCH THE SMOKE at the top of the stretch and passed briefly but dug in and fought back for the win. CATCH THE SMOKE raced close up while keen to go early but waited before looming to challenge at the 3/8 pole and grabbed a brief lead while battling through the long drive but missed at the wire. HOODLUM was allowed to settle early and tucked in to save ground on the backstretch run before being urged to challenge the leaders nearing the 1/2 pole then altered five wide into the stretch but was no match for the top two. BE HERE rated in the second flight early and chased while five wide onto the backstretch, flashing brief foot before fading into the second turn.
