Chart notes
MAD FOR MADDY raced in the second flight while four wide early before ranging up to make a steady advance while six wide on the turn then drifted out at the 3/16 pole but dug in and held sway on the wire. VIOLET'S CHARM was void of early speed and settled while under a tight hold along the inside early then waited into the second turn before altering seven wide into the stretch but then had to duck back in when MAD FOR MADDY drifted out and was gaining late. THEA rated in the second flight early then ranged up and loomed to challenge nearing the 3/8 pole then made a bid into the stretch while racing all out but was outfinished at the wire. CASTAGNA got away alertly and set the early pace while clear on the lead but was headed in the second turn and gave way late in the stretch. RIDGIE settled off the early pace and saved ground before being urged along nearing the 1/2 pole but had no response.
