Chart notes
FRANKNESS was unhurried near the rear midway along the back straight with the field tightly bunched, moved in getting better forward position between rivals at the seven sixteenths pole, battled outside two wide going eye to eye around the turn up top, shifted to the three path straightening out for the drive in the thick of things and determinedly pulled away for the win in the final furlong. UP N THE ANTE was away slowly trailing the field outside, moved up but was going five deep to do so going into the turn, gradually was gaining around three horses having to go four wide through the bend, loomed menacingly outside at the head of the lane but could not kick on with the winner in the last sixteenth of a mile and just came on to get the nod for the runners up share outside at the wire. GLORIOUS REVENGE was hustled early on having a slim lead, continued to narrowly be in front on the fence but was under a ride on the turn with outside rivals threatening by the quarter pole, dueled inside two rivals in upper stretch, gave way to the winner by the furlong marker unable to find more and faded in the late going just losing the p,ace share in deep stretch while a clear third at the finish line. MONEY TALKS broke outwards on the start, settled four deep on the outside in midfield, chased three wide with runners on either side around the bend, could not quicken with the lead trio by the quarter pole and in the four oath finished up one paced garnering a minor share in the end. A REAL WAR STORY broke out at the start, pressed the issue between foes in the beginning, was shuffled back to last with the field quite compact at the seven sixteenths marker, travelled two wide making no headway in the turn running, angled out to the five path in upper stretch but could not get involved. BACCARO POINT was in the mix up top on the inside initially, dropped back heading into the turn to be a joint last on the fence at the three eighths pole, saved ground but lagged behind around the oval, hugged the rail turning for home but failed to menace in the drive to the finish line.
