Chart notes
RED PHARAOH was away alertly getting the early advantage, relinquished the lead to an inside foe at the half, edged up two wide in hand on the turn by the quarter pole, pounced three wide in upper stretch and opened up with ease under mild urging pulling away in the final furlong. ARABIAN PRINCE was content to sit outside off the engaged duo at the half, travelled three wide on the turn while scrubbed on for more just holding position, shifted to the four path turning for home, had no chance getting to the winner with a furling to go but still charged home to best the rest for the secondary share. DISSECTOLOGIST advanced from last on the fence leaving the chute to get in front inside by the half, freewheeled loose on the engine around the oval, had no answer when collared by the winner outside in mid-stretch and faded late giving up the runners up share but did hang on inside at the wire saving the show award from two others. BIG BABY HENRY broke out on the start, settled near the rear inside another, started to pick up the bit two wide at the quarter pole, moved out to the three path for the stretch run and ran on willingly between horses capturing a minor share while just missing at the finish line for third place. MOON LANDING was brushed inside to begin, settled close to the back outside of rivals, took closer order going three wide on the bend with a quarter mile remaining, swung out widest in the five path at the head of the lane and closed in mildly outside in deep stretch but was on the wrong end of the three way picture for show. HEAVEN'S CHAMPION was situated inside another tracking in the second flight, took the short way around the turn inching up at the quarter marker, scraped paint in contention for a share taking the corner but lacked a rally inside in the last eight of a mile. HAPPY QUAD trailed the field down the backside, could not keep up losing more ground to the group in the turn running and was not a factor through the stretch drive.
