Chart notes
THE ANSWER rated nicely outside, loomed four wide nearing the quarter pole, took command and led while wide into the lane, drew off into the final furlong then was ridden out to win as much the best. JUDGE CAPRIO caught in a bit tight early on while between runners, settled to the turn then found traffic nearing the quarter marker, found room along the rail into the lane, was no match for the winner in the late stages but bested the rest in a good effort. BRISK ALLEY vied for the early lead, ceded the front and tracked from the outside heading to the turn, chased three wide to the quarter marker, couldn't match strides with the winner into upper stretch, dueled UNIQUENESS for the show honors into the final sixteenth and bested that foe for third. UNIQUENESS off a step slow, hustled to be forwardly placed along the rail in the early going, chased from the inside then two path to upper stretch, dueled BRISK ALLEY late for the show honors and was outfinished for that position. A LITTLE OFF sent for the early lead, took command and set the pace two to three paths off of the rail heading into the turn, overtaken nearing the quarter pole, couldn't find more into the stretch and weakened in the drive. CLOCKBUSTER vied for the early lead, stalked the pace to the turn then chased between foes nearing the quarter marker, gave way to upper stretch then came up empty in the late stages. MR GALVAN lacked early speed, trailed into the turn and did not factor.
