Chart notes
DEE'S ON DOW showed good speed from the gate and took early command, dueled along the rail into the turn, lost the lead nearing the quarter pole then came again into upper stretch, led from the two path into the final furlong, dug in late and held well to prevail. IRISH JIG well placed while three to four wide approaching the turn, chased from the four path to upper stretch, fought gamely to the final sixteenth but couldn't reel in the winner late and held for second. GRIDLOCK settled outside, roused four wide to the quarter pole, ran in pursuit from the five path to upper stretch, was gaining in the late stages but couldn't catch the top pair and held for third in a good effort. DON'T LISTEN off a bit slowly and trailed leaving the gate, rushed up between rivals then was caught on heels approaching the turn, chased two to three wide nearing the quarter marker, moved to the rail in upper stretch then fought on in the lane, couldn't muster the needed late response and was outkicked in the final sixteenth. COSTA AMALFITANA allowed to settle while never far back, saved ground into the turn then caught a bit in tight at the three-eighths, shifted off of the rail at the quarter pole, chased to upper stretch, kept on to the final sixteenth but needed more late. WHATTA WORLD settled in the early going then trailed into the turn, was last at the quarter pole, swung wide to upper stretch, offered a mild late rally but did not threaten in the final sixteenth. MISS MO TOWN vied for the early lead with DEE'S ON DOW, dueled for pace duties outside of that rival heading to the turn, took the lead along the bend and led to the quarter marker, got overtaken into the lane, couldn't keep pace pace mid-stretch and faded late.
