Chart notes
FULL ACCESS well placed while saving ground to the backstretch, saved all of the ground to the far turn, bid at the quarter marker then took command to upper stretch, kicked clear to the furlong grounds, held sway to the final sixteenth and was hand urged to the wire. LITHOS off slowly and void of early speed, trailed to the quarter marker, kept an inside path to the stretch and closed willingly into the lane, couldn't impact the winner to the final sixteenth and was second best. HAMMERIN HENRY sent to vie for the early lead, took command and cleared the field into the first turn, set a modest pace while prompted to the second turn, left the rail open at the quarter marker and was overtaken by the winner to upper stretch, couldn't keep pace with FULL ACCESS into the lane, yielded to the top pair late and was a clear third. WESTBOUND CAT settled to the first turn, steadied outside of runners along that bend, coaxed four wide to the half-mile marker, maintained a wide path to the far turn, swung to the five path to upper stretch, couldn't impact the leaders in the drive but kept on late to improve position. INDIAN PHAROAH moved up outside of rivals in the early going then prompted the pace into the backstretch, pressed to the far turn then vied for the lead nearing the quarter marker, got outkicked into upper stretch, couldn't find more into the final furlong and weakened. CHUCK'S MUNNY squeezed at the start, settled to the backstretch run, coaxed from the two to three path nearing the top of the lane, lacked a response into the drive and did not factor late. FEZ went up to track the early pace three deep, well placed behind the leading pair nearing the half-mile marker, chased three to four wide approaching the quarter pole, couldn't keep pace to upper stretch and tired in the lane.
