Chart notes
I'M THISTY KID was forced out at the start, settled outside off the pace, went five to six wide on the turn advancing on the leaders, took charge in mid-stretch and drew clear. POSITION OUR LUCK was mid-pack off the inside, went three to four wide on the turn, swung seven to eight wide for the drive, gained to get the place. HELMO THE GREAT came out at the start, had a brief early lead from outside, contended through the turn vying three to four wide, had no extra in the lane. CITIZEN EX broke outwardly, stalked outside the second flight, went four to five wide on the turn, was outkicked in the lane. WILL CONQUER lacked early speed shifting in, saved ground on the turn, swung six wide into upper stretch, shifted in late while finishing mildly. LORD BLOCK was bothered slightly at the start, shifted in heading to the turn racing near the rail just off then on the rail, came out gradually in mid- to late-stretch to be seven wide by the sixteenth pole and finishing with interest. DELONG SHOT was ridden along up the backstretch, raced outside toward the rear into the turn, moved out from four to seven wide on that bend, passed tired rivals. STORMY ATTACK advanced inside heading into the turn, switched out two to three wide midway on that bend, ran on. HELLO GREG was bumped early, tracked in behind the leaders two wide, shifted nearer the rail on the turn, failed to rally. DANDY RUBY moved inside to take the lead past the half, faltered and faded. ROAD MAN had bumps both sides after the gap steadying slightly, raced in the back half of the field off the rail, swung seven wide, failed to menace.
