Chart notes
VIRGINIA CITY reserved off the pace in hand early, gained ground on the backstretch from between rivals to be prominently placed into the turn, angled to the clear at the top of the lane and continued with a steady bid to wear the pacesetter down in the final hundred yards. TRACKSTER set a quick pace on a clear early lead, settled to a pressured pace at a more moderate pace down the backside, kicked away again in upper stretch and was overtaken late in a game effort. SHERMAN FURY pressed the pace to the top of the lane and weakened coming home while hanging on for the show. TAPSTICK tracked the leader from five wide to the far turn and finish evenly failing to gain. TALL STORY was well placed stalking the leader from the inside through the final turn and failed to mount a rally for the drive. FREDERICKSBURG raced near the rearo f the field to be well off the pace and passed weaker rivals in the lane without impact. CRYPTONYM was not a threat. OUTTA MONEY chased the pace for a half mile and steadily faded from contention.
