Chart notes
INHERENT PROMISE stalked the pace from two wide tucked in just behind the leaders, waited patiently through the turn for an opening under confident handling and cruised through in hand when presented a hole between rivals drawing off in the lane the easiest of winners. FLYING CHIEF pressed the pace to loom turning for home, was no match for the winner and ran-on willingly as second best. ZENICK set the pace under steady pressure to the head of the stretch and weakened in the lane hanging on to the show. STUCK IN TRAFFIC stalked the pace from four wide to be prominently placed at the quarter pole and finished evenly lacking a closing bid. ONLY THE LONELY went evenly failing to menace. D REMBRANDT was one-paced never posing a threat. GIMME ME BIT was not a factor.
