Chart notes
GOLDEN CANDY was last away from the stalls, took command several strides from the gate to go clear down the backstretch on a well rated lead, responded when called upon turning for home and held the advantage going without a serious challenge in the lane. BEACH HOLIDAY unhurried to be the trailer through the turn, circled five wide turning for home and rallied steadily on the outside to gain the place. LIGHTNING CHARLIE stalked the pace to be well placed in striking distance at the top of the lane and showed good interest while outkicked in the drive. SIXTEEN CIGARETTES prompted the pace through the turn and laked a closing response to fade to the rear.
