Chart notes

MOBIUS set the pace on a clear, well rated lead to the far turn, responded when called upon to widen the advantage in upper stretch and finished in a determined drive to be unthreatened in the lane. VISIBLE slow early to be well off the pace at the rear of the field, rallied on the far turn to close the gap, cut the corner turning for home and was gaining with a belated bid through the stretch. PEAK PERFORMER tracked the leaders to the far turn, edged closer leaving the three-eighths pole, steadied briefly in tight quarters along the rail at the five-sixteenths, swung outside to the clear and put in a grinding bid in a long drive. MINOTAUR reserved off the pace to the final turn, rallied to loom midway on the bend, chased the leader down the lane and flattened out in the final furlong. GRAY OBSESSION prompted the pace for five-eighths and steadily gave way coming home.
