Chart notes
HITS DIFFERENT tracked the leaders for three-quarters, saved ground through the final turn, rallied along the rail in upper stretch, lacked racing room, altered course late in the drive swinging to the outside, found his best stride when clear and surged late to be up in time. NAN O'HARA reserved off the pace to the far turn, rallied five wide circling to be prominent turning for home, took the lead midway down the lane and was caught in the final strides. STARLIT SKY pressed the pace to the head of the stretch to be prominent in upper stretch, was outkicked in the final furlong and ran-on as best of the rest. HIGH TRACK set the pace under constant pressure to the quarter pole and weakened coming home. COLE'S VALENTINE hopped at the start to be the last away and trailed throughout as a non-factor.
