Chart notes
FLY BECKY pressed the pace three-wide, gained a narrow advantage in the stretch, and held on desperately in the final yards. COMFORTS GEM tracked in mid-pack through the early stages, then moved up to challenge approaching the quarter pole, gradually narrowed the margin on the leader in the late stages but ran out of time. HALLIE'S GAL settled well off the early pace while saving ground, made a rally up the rail in the stretch to grab a piece of the third prize. LEGION HEIRESS showed good speed and was on the pace inside of two rivals, responded to strong handling in the stretch, but had to settle for a share of the minor award. CERTE shuffled back after the start, settled well off the pace, came five-wide for the stretch run, and came on steadily but was unable to threaten. BLUES MONEY hopped slightly at the start, rushed up to vie between rivals, then weakened in the drive. ZAP DANCER broke slowly, raced well behind the rest to the stretch, then made mild progress but was never a serious threat. THE 1/2 MILE FRACTION WAS OMITTED DUE TO A TIMING MALFUNCTION.
