Chart notes
STOP JUDGING was allowed to settle early, having to be coaxed a bit to keep pace, stayed in the clear down the backstretch, advanced to the head of the tracking group near the quarter pole, took aim on the tiring leader in mid-stretch, collared that one inside the sixteenth pole and went clear in the end. MANHATTAN BEAUTY came away well and dueled with MOON ON MALIBU initially, took command passing the half-mile pole and opened up a huge lead on the turn, started to shorten strides with a furlong to go and was unable to hold off the winner, while holding on desperately for the place. DEALIN IN CASH was taken back early, steadily advanced on the leaders up the backstretch while saving ground, responded when asked, approaching the three-furlong pole, finished well, but was not making any headway on the top two in the late stages. JULIETTE P. chased the early leaders while under a steady hand ride, was first to go after the runaway leader heading into the turn, but flattened out in upper stretch. COUNTRY SONATA saved ground in an even effort. I'M LYING was off a bit awkwardly and trailed the field early, tried to rally extremely wide into the stretch, but flattened out. JUNALUSKA was done early and showed little. MOON ON MALIBU went with MANHATTAN BEAUTY on the lead down the backstretch, gave way readily near the half, and stopped.
