Chart notes
THRILLING RIDE broke well and went to a slight lead under confident handling, opened up on the field through the turn, and held clear through the stretch to win as much the best. EYE FOR AN EYE tracked behind the THRILLING RIDE to the turn, gave a futile chase as that rival drew away in the stretch, raced on the wrong lead, but outgamed the rest for second. SOLO ME broke on top but was overtaken early, tracked three-wide, battled gamely for the runner-up spot, but was outfinished for the second spot. FORTY SEVEN was last of the compact field down the backstretch, stayed four-wide in the clear through the turn, advanced to loom a threat in upper stretch, but weakened in the drive. BAD BOY ONE chased the pace for a quarter mile then weakened in the stretch.
