Chart notes
EL PASO LADY was a bit slow to begin, steadily advanced while keeping to an inside path through the early stages, moved up in range in upper stretch, tipped out to the three-wide path and rallied past the leader while racing a bit green in the final yards. MIND GAMES tracked between horses three-wide, was unable to kick on with the leaders into the stretch, but kept to task and came back on to take the second prize. HE'S SO SMOOTH jumped out to a clear early lead, dug in while coming under pressure through the turn, dueled with ACE IN THE HALL into upper stretch, but weakened in the final sixteenth. IS PROBABLE was near the back early on, advanced while under a steady drive down the backstretch, was kept to task through the turn, swung four to five wide into the stretch, and continued to improve. MY NAME IS EL JEFE tracked close-up four-wide, but flattened out in the stretch. ACE IN THE HALL tracked close up to the pace, made a bid for the lead leaving the quarter pole, but gave way mid-stretch. TRUST THE KARMA raced at the back and was never involved. HELPMEHELPYOU was outrun despite steady handling and urging. TEJANO 'D ORO was always far behind and showed little.
