Chart notes
PAY THE PIPER broke in at the start, showed the way in hand along the inside through the first turn and then just off the inside down the backstretch settled into a comfortable rhythm through sensible splits, tucked back inside with seven-sixteenths to go, remained patiently handled until roused taking the inside route into upper stretch, inched away to the eighth pole, held sway to the finish back in hand in the final jumps to the wire. LET'S BE FRANK settled tracking the leader just off the inside from just off the pace, came under coaxing tucked inside with five-sixteenths to go, took the inside route into upper stretch, dug in under a drive running on to chase the winner home, clear of the rest. OLD TIME ROCKNROLL broke out at the start bumping MAJORITY INTEREST in the hind end turning that rival inwards, settled just off the inside near the rear of the field remaining on hold until set down angled four wide into upper stretch, kicked on belatedly to procure the show honors. MAJORITY INTEREST (GB) got bumped in the hind end by the aforementioned foe and was turned inwards briefly, raced along the inside through the first turn and then two to three paths off the inside down the backstretch, went just off the inside through the far turn and came under a ride with five-sixteenths to go, angled six to seven wide into upper stretch, kept on to the wire. PAX MUNDI settled tracking the front just off the inside and then along the inside from mid pack, got let out spinning from the two path into upper stretch, stayed on one paced to the finish. OLLIE LUKE OUT took an awkward first step at the break, chased just off the inside and then along the inside from the seven-sixteenths pole, got roused in the inside route into upper stretch and passed tired rivals. LANGUID coaxed from the gate, attended the leader from the outside two to three wide, came under encouragement with five-sixteenths remaining and spun three wide at the top of the stretch, then weakened in the drive. ROYAL'S PRIDE (GB) four wide into the first turn, tucked to the inside just past midway on that bend, settled tracking the front from just off the inside in mid pack, came under urging at the five-sixteenths marker, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and weakened in the late stages. DONNADOYAWANNA bobbled smally at the start, raced three then two wide through the first turn before chasing three wide from just off the pace, got ridden along three furlongs out and faded through the latter portion of the far turn, tipped four to five wide for home and tired in the stretch.
