Chart notes
THUNDERSTAR came away well from the break and was sent to the lead, took a slight advantage coming out of the first turn, then widened going into the far turn and hit the wire well clear of the rest under a mild hand ride. SCOTTIE J shuffled back to the rear in the early running while saving some ground, started a sustained late bid from the three-furlong pole and rallied to be a clear second. DARK STATE broke slowly, then rushed up three-wide through the first turn to gain better position, came under some right-handed urging after passing the three-furlong pole, and did not respond but was kept to task to gain and hold the third spot. SIEMPRE SONANDO tracked in the second position early, was unable to kick on with the eventual winner on the far turn and weakened in the drive. CRYPTO FIRE was outpaced early and was under some coaxing to keep pace, was kept in a steady drive through the late stages, and mildly improved. QUATTRO CALZINI was last early, steadied while making a mild forward move midway on the far turn and was not a factor in the late stages. MO ARTHUR raced two-wide near the back of the field and did not offer a late bid. ALILBITSHADY settled in mid-pack early but steadily retreated to the rear after passing the three-furlong marker.
