Chart notes

SPUNOUTOFCONTROL showed no early foot and was being coaxed early to stay in contact with the field, advanced steadily two or three wide down the backstretch, then made a nice move through the far turn while still wide and sustained the effort through the stretch to win clear. LOVEABOVEANDBEYOND was sent for the lead from the start, dueled outside of a rival for the first half, got clear approaching the quarter pole, dug in under threat from the eventual winner at the top of the stretch but could not kick on late, while held clear of the next horse. CROWN OF CAIRO was unhurried from the break and the early trailer, circled the field on the far turn to gain contention, then continued to run on to gain third while never a threat to the top pair. STAY UP raced two-wide in the tracking pair, was outkicked late on the far turn, and finished evenly. B B'S WILDFIRE was outrun early and raced near the back, kept to the inside path to the stretch, but lacked a late kick. FASTESTGIRLINTOWN tracked in mid-pack while racing off the rail, made a forward move leaving the quarter pole, but could not sustain the bid and weakened in the stretch. DREAMB tracked the pace along the rail in the second pair, had to idle in traffic entering the far turn, lost some momentum, and tried, but was unable to get back into contention. WHERE'S THE PUMPS dueled inside of a rival, took up sharply at the quarter pole and could not recover.
