Chart notes
DRINKING AGAIN never far back but two to three wide throughout, came under a ride to go after SCUFFLE on the lead, gained the advantage in upper stretch and won clear. CRUSHER ROYALE settled well off the pace and well off the rail, made a five-wide bid off the last turn and rallied for the place. SPARKLET settled in behind SCUFFLE early, got in a bit tight turning into the stretch, came out to the three-path, continued to race in tight quarters, and came up short. SCUFFLE hustled away from the break to grab the early advantage, led the way to the stretch, battled gamely, but was outfinished in the final yards. TAYLOR FIELD was the early back marker racing two-wide, launched a bid from the three-furlong pole, became blocked by a wall of horses at the head of the stretch and was unable to get clear to the finish. HORATIO raced in the back half of the field early, steadied at the top of the stretch while making a bit up the rail, finished willingly despite tight quarters but came up short. MY MUNNINGS MODEL settled at the back while saving ground, finished with some interest but could not improve.
