Chart notes
SHADYSIDE settled off the early pace, vied three wide between near the three sixteenths pole and edge up narrowly under all out pressure. MISS MIKOS settled off the early pace, moved up six wide through the far turn, dug in deep stretch and just missed in a game effort. SUSAN'S MULE vied for the early lead along the inside, raced in tight quarters between rivals near the sixteenth pole and kept on gamely to the wire. Jockey of Susan's Mule claimed objection against Miss Mikos for interference through the stretch run and stewards deemed no change. BEAUTIFUL BOLT stalked the pace, raced from the inside through the far, angled off the inside near the eighth pole and was even with no closing run. MABEE LUCKYNWILD raced mid pack early, five wide through the far turn and needed more. MISS SERAFINA was allowed to settle early, had an inside run past the quarter pole and no late response. ADA MAY urged along between rivals and faded.
