Chart notes
BALTIC showed good early speed along the inside and held gamely to prove best under strong handling. DERZ SMART dropped back early, moved up five wide into the upper stretch and rallied gamely to get up for the place position. RAGS TO LACE raced near the back early, seven wide into the upper stretch and closed in belatedly. ROYAL RENEGADE trailed early on, raced three to four wide through the far turn and moved up to improve position. ANDOLIN dropped back to race mid pack, aim six wide into the upper stretch and had no final winning bid. MY CAPTAIN off the early going, had an inside run and needed more. MONSIEUR FUDGE (GB) chased the pace from the inside and gave way. DON'T COPY ME under a hard early chase, raced three wide through the far turn and faded.
