Chart notes
SLIM SLOW SLIDER forced the pace outside, took over into the far turn and edged away under moderate urging. ROYAL 'N RANDO trailed early, advanced wide and proved second best. BOB JOHN RAY settled off the pace inside and continued willingly for the show. FIRST TRUMPET stalked the pacesetters three wide then began fading into the far turn. DOCSGOTALLTHECANDY led under pressure inside for half mile and faltered. NOTED lacked speed and gave way readily losing contact with his field.
