Chart notes
TRAIL OF ROSES set a fast pace on a well measured lead to the quarter pole, repelled the pressers kicking away in upper stretch and went unchallenged down the lane in a convincing performance. VIOLENTA settled just off the pace to track the leaders, rallied leaving the quarter pole and finished well to be second best. AU COURANT unhurried to race at the rear of the compact field and found best stride late to pass weakened rivals. ROCK HARD ROSE pressed the pace through the turn, was repelled by the winner turning for home and weakened down the lane. READY MUNNY stalked the pace down the backside, rallied with good interest on the turn to be prominently placed turning for home and flattened out in the stretch.
