Chart notes
STARSHIP BELMONT set the pace on a clear lead into the first turn, widened the advantage while well rated down the backside, maintained a clear lead in upper stretch when called upon and held on in the final furlong while tiring. OLD FASHIONED GIRL tracked the leader the entire way while one-paced and rallied in the lane to close the gap with the same griding bid. LOVE HER LOTS slow early to be the trailer well off the pace in the strung out field, angled five wide at the head of the stretch to the clear and showed some late interest to be along for the show. DON'T TELL KELLY unhurried to be near the back in the first turn, rallied up the backside to prominence, closed the gap on the pacesetter in the far turn and flattened out in upper stretch unable to sustain the bid. I'M BLUSHING chased the pace for a half and faded from contention on the final bend.
