Chart notes
FOREVER SAFE broke best to grab the early lead, opened a clear margin approaching the half, maintained the lead through the turn, and widened in the final furlong. RIGHT OF REFUSAL came away well but ceded the front to FOREVER SAFE, lost some ground going into the turn, then responded when put into a drive with three furlongs to go, tipped out to the four path at the top of the stretch and rallied into the second spot. JULIA'S PROMISE had no early speed, trailed far back early, then rallied four to five wide late to improve. PAYRULA was a little hard to place early, settled in a tracking spot behind the leader, gave game chase into the stretch, but was no match, then was outfinished for the minor award. TURN ON ARCH was close up early, but weakened in the stretch. LOOKOUT PASS had the rider lose both irons at the start and was not a factor.
