Chart notes
NOGAL broke on top and set the pace, maintained a length or two advantage through the turn, then held off the late challenge to prevail. READS ARTFUL RUN settled in mid-pack three-wide early, advanced into second approaching the turn, and continued willingly through the stretch, making some headway unable to fully close the gap on the winner. FEAR THE CRUISE settled in mid-pack along the inside, improved position through the turn despite some traffic, then continued to gain through the stretch to secure third but lacked the late kick to threaten the top two. SPEEDY MONEY took up at the break, raced in the middle of the field, and finished evenly. SGT MUSKETT raced wide and lacked a finish. I'M JUST PLAYING was outpaced early, stayed to the inside and improved position approaching the stretch but was unable to make further headway through the late stages. SPORTS IDOL ducked in at the start, then rushed up to press the early pace, stayed in range to mid-stretch, bit tired. COMFORTAFTERCHAOS steadied sharply early and was unable to recover. M G ROJO LOCO got in tight quarters near the five-eights pole, remained at the back of the field, and trailed throughout.
