Chart notes
DUCK HUNTER tracked the leaders for three-quarters, rallied four wide with a steady bid turning for home and surged late from between rivals to be up in time. SHY BOY set a slow pace on a well measured lead, kicked away nearing the quarter pole to be clear in mid-stretch and was caught in the final strides just unable to see it through in a good effort. STANDPOINT slow early to be the trailer, circled six wide at the head of the stretch and rallied well on the outside but could not quite reel-in the top pair in deep stretch. HURRICANES ABLOWIN pressed the pace down the backside, rallied to threaten midway on the turn, failed to pass the pacesetter and weakened coming home. DRUNKLE failed to menace going evenly. CHILL BOSS popped the gate without leaving the stall pre-race, was slow early away from the gate, made an early bid to prominence on the backstretch and flattened out.
